Extended communities are needed

Are we likely to have a frenzy of activity on inactive housing development sites now the P.M. has announced his 95% Government guaranteed mortgages (i.e. YOUR tax payers’ money) for houses up to £600,000?

Maybe, but priority ought to be given to the urgently needed council housing a.k.a. ‘social’ housing and the ‘affordable’ (definition please) less pretentious style that are ‘ideal for first time buyers’.

Future planning applications by developers should include a higher percentage of ‘social’ and ‘affordable’ houses and include the obligation of access to schools, health centres and shops.
It’s extended communities that are needed ,not dormitory housing for H.S.2. commutwers (should the worst happen).
