We saw bright lights in the sky too

Mr Sellers will be pleased to know that he is not the only one to have questioned his own sanity over the last couple of weeks.

We live on Beech Avenue, in Hucknall, the adjacent road to Derbyshire Lane. A week last Saturday, at about 7 pm, my wife had just returned from taking her sister home.

My wife came in and told me to go and have a look at some strange lights she had seen in the sky. She had been walking from Annesley Road and had seen the lights moving in the direction as stated by Mr Sellers.

I managed to get off the sofa to go and have a look and we stood and watched on our front doorstep for a good five minutes as, one by one, approximately six bright orange lights moved over.

There was no sound, they were not flashing, they appeared in perfect sequence and as they moved across the sky, they then disappeared.

I am unable to shed any light on this but just wanted to reassure Mr Sellers that he was not the only one who witnessed this occurrence.

Again, we would welcome anyone with any ideas to come forward.
