Ashfield District Council managed town car parks will be free for three months

The council will not enforce parking restrictions but asks all motorists to observe disabled bay rules.

The safety of residents and employees is paramount, as is supporting key workers that continue to deliver services across the district by providing free parking.

Car parks at council parks and green spaces will be closed until further notice in line with government guidance on travelling for essential purposes only.

Signs will be placed highlighting the new arrangements.

Residents with season tickets will be extended by three months.
