Award crowns landmark year

Having moved from a first floor location to the contemporary new ground floor salon in May 2014, the past year has been one of growth and opportunity for the salon, culminating in the ultimate accolade as they were crowned winner of the Retail Improvement Award 2015 at the KH Hair Annual Awards.

The award, which is sponsored by Sebastian Professional, recognises the top salon in the group of 23 salons and barbers, which has shown the highest level of improvement in terms of retail sales throughout the last 12 months.

Salon Director Jane Fletcher said: “We are thrilled to have won the Retail Improvement Award and we are confident that our new ground floor location has had a major impact on business performance. Not only have we seen an increase in the retail sales from “walk in” customers, but we have also welcomed a host of new clients over the past year, including people who have commented they never even knew KH Hair were in Mansfield until the move.

“We’ve also had great support from our neighbouring businesses, particularly since the salon has become more prominent on the high street, which is great for the overall prosperity of Mansfield and the thriving shops and businesses we have here. I am especially proud of the team who work tirelessly to provide the highest level of service and customer care every single day. We may have a new salon but we have a long heritage here in Mansfield as we mark our 45th year and we will be celebrating with all of clients, past and present, with some champagne and exclusive offers to say thank you for all their support.”
