Food bank trials doorstep collections in Hucknall

Drivers will be out during the day collecting non-perishable goods from various addresses across the town.

If the trial run is successful further doorstep collections could follow on.

In a Facebook post a spokesman for the food bank said: “We have already seen a rise of 60% in the number of food parcels we are giving out.

“Once again I can’t thank you enough for the support you give to the food bank.

“God bless you and keep safe.”
