Little Mix cancel summer tour due to coronavirus crisis

Little Mix has become the latest act to cancel gigs due to the coronavirus crisis.

The successful pop group, made up of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson, were due to embark on a summer tour in June and July.

They were due to kick off their tour at Falkirk in Scotland on Friday, June 26 before moving on to St Helens, Cardiff, Peterborough, Southampton, Plymouth, Hyde Park, Lytham, Gloucester, Colchester, Colwyn Bay, Hull, Ardingly, Durham, Leicester, Norfolk,

Canterbury, Scarborough, Carlisle, Ayr and Aberdeen.

They were also due to headline at London's British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park.

In a statement, the band said: “We are so sad to announce that following the latest Government advice, we have had to cancel our upcoming UK summer tour.

“The health and safety of all our fans and crew is always our number one priority."

“Please stay safe and stay home, lots of love, the girls.”
