Ramblers set for beautiful Lincolnshire
The Wolds are classed as an area of outstanding national beauty and provide memorable views over fairly rugged terrain

Hide AdThe walk will start on the outskirts of Market Rasen and explore a mixture of woods,farmland and moorland.
There will be a mid-morning break at or near a lay-by on Toyne Moor.
The route then continues across rolling Wolds country to the village of Tealby which will be the lunch stop.The oldest thatched pub in Lincolnshire,the Kings Head, is a feature of the village.

Hide AdIn the afternoon the group joins the Viking Way and move on Walesby village, featuring the All Saints Church (Ramblers Church).
Within there is a glorious stained glass window depicting Christ with 20th century ramblers.
The ramble continues along the Viking Way to Normanby-on-the-Wolds (at 543 feet one of the highest points in Lincolnshire). and finishes at Claxby village where the coach will depart for home at approximately 6.00pm.

Hide AdThe coach picks up at the Staff Of Life pub in Sutton at 9.15am and at the Bancroft Lane end of Stockwell Gate in Mansfield at 9.30am.
There are other pick-up points between these locations.
