Region set to lose major heritage site

A heritage site in Nottinghamshire is to be controversially closed, sparking a furious backlash from campaigners.

The news that Eastwood’s DH Lawrence Heritage Centre is to shut its doors has been confirmed by Broxtowe Borough Council – with many describing the news as “devastating”.
