Sutton car crime spree

Three vehicles have been attacked overnight at various locations across the Sutton in Ashfield Area.

A Sat Nav has been taken from a car on Sandown Road and a car was broken into on Jubilee Road, but nothing was stolen.

An unsuccessful attempt was also made to enter a vehicle on Huthwaite Road.

Ashfield North Police will be pro-actively checking vehicles for items left on display that would be tempting to a car thief, while going about their normal patrols.

They will then be advising vehicle owners accordingly, either in person or by letter.
