Teenager damaged partner’s car window

A teenager who damaged a car window during an argument with his brother was ordered to pay £50 compensation.

Jake Anthony Cullington (19) of Fell Wilson Street, Warsop, said his relationship with his girlfriend had also ended after the incident, because it was her Nissan Micra that was damaged.

Magistrates at Mansfield were told that Cullington had been drinking and had struck the window.

The court was told how the defendant had ‘lashed out at then nearest thing to him’ and it had spelled the end of their five-year relationship.

He was told to pay £30 costs because he had breached conditions of a previous unnamed charge, for which he had received 120 hours community. He was also told to attend session on alcohol awareness.
