Thieves spotted trying car doors
Thieves spotted trying vehicle door handles in the middle of the night are being hunted by police. At around 3.40am on Monday, February 22, two males dressed in black were spotted on Saffron Street, Forest Town.
However, in an incident reported separately to police, a van on the same street was broken into that night and a pair of sunglasses were taken.
Police say it is ‘highly likely’ that the two reported incidents are linked.
