Two men die in plane crash near M1’s junction 26
Two men have died after a plane, in which they were travelling, came down in a field near the M1 at around 1.30pm this afternoon (Saturday 14th June).
There are only believed to have been two people on the plane when it came down clear of the motorway near junction 26.
Inspectors from the Air Accident Investigation Branch have been deployed to the scene to commence an investigation.
