Two park and ride sites awarded safer parking awards
Nottingham City Council's Queen's Drive and Colwick Racecourse Park and Ride sites, which offer more than 1,500 parking spaces have received Park Mark safer parking awards by the Safer Parking Scheme for the 10th consecutive year.
Portfolio Holder for Jobs, Growth and Transport at Nottingham City Council, Coun Nick McDonald, said: “We are delighted that we continue to receive these awards as they give people confidence to park up and take the bus at our sites, knowing that every effort is being taken on their behalf to keep them and their vehicles safe.”
To gain this award each car park undergoes an assessment by police assessors.
