VIDEO: Asda lorry overturns on busy Nottinghamshire road
A large Asda lorry has overturned on a busy Nottinghamshire road - flattening a pedestrian crossing in the process.
The incident took place shortly before 11am on Leeming Lane in Mansfield Woodhouse at its junction with Peafield Lane and Sandgate Lane.
The contents of the lorry have been scattered across the road and the police and ambulance services are in attendance.
Fortunately nobody was injured as a result but the lorry driver was understood to be ‘shaken up’.
The A60 Warsop to Mansfield northbound is closed at the junction with Peafield Lane and traffic southbound is very restricted - alternative routes are advised.
