Young people trust wants applications

The Emma Stamp Charitable Trust was founded in memory of an Ollerton woman who was tragically killed in a car accident between Clipstone and Warsop in December 2011.

Grants of up to £500 are awarded to charities or groups which help young people up to the age of 23 through education, equipment provision, or any other means, to become responsible members of their community.

Nicola Walters, trustee and long-term friend of 23-year-old Emma Stamp, said the trust was a fitting memorial to her best friend, as she had worked as a dedicated trust fundraiser for disadvantaged young people.

Said Nicola: “Emma would be so happy that she was able to carry on supporting young people in some way.

“The Trust is a great way for groups to help young people make something of themselves and so if you meet the criteria to be awarded a grant you should come forward and apply.”

Applications are considered three times per year and should be received by 31st May, 30th September or 31st January.

They should include name of your charity or group, contact details, amount of much financial support requested, what it would be used for and the difference it would make.

Application should be kept to a maximum of two sides of A4 paper and be sent to [email protected].
