Big weekend of cup ties

HUCKNALL Town's FA Trophy game is not the only big cup-tie involving local clubs this weekend.

Both ROLLS-ROYCE LEISURE (SATURDAY) and LINBY COLLIERY WELFARE face games in the Second Round of the Notts FA Senior Cup tomorrow.

And Bulwell side SCOTS GREY travel to Merseyside for the Third Round (last 32) of the FA Carlsberg (All-England) Sunday Cup on Sunday.

Greys, who reached the last 16 last season, face The View, of the Liverpool Sunday League.

Rolls are away to Cotgrave Colliery Welfare United, who play two levels below them on the non-league ladder in the Notts Senior League's (NSL) Senior Division.

While Linby, who currently top the NSL's Senior Division, face the team who won it last season, Wollaton.

If Rolls and Linby win, they will go through to the elite last 16 of the competition when all the big guns, like Hucknall Town, enter.
