Hosiery Mills ran up a substantial 278-6, Tom New again in the nineties, this time amassing a total of 92 runs with Mark Smallwood making 67.

The visiting Clipstone team were unable to match this, being bowled out for 75. Kieron Garside took 4-45 and James Fenwick claimed a glorious five wickets for just nine runs.
Thoresby batted first at Papplewick, making 201-9 with 34 for Tebogo Mokwena and 46 for Nayeem Ahmed 46.

Papplewick’s Jim Rhodes was the pick of the bowlers with 5-49.

The leaders replied with 205-3 with Alex Lloyd not out on 87 and Tim Bowers (41) also contributing strongly.

Glapwell gained a winning draw, taking 17 points from their visit to North Wheatley with Leverton.

Glapwell made 154-9 with a top score of 61 from Danny Bircumshaw and Lee Topham making 44 not out.

Wheatley’s best bowling came from Jake Tong (4-44) and Matthew Loates (4-53), which greatly assisted them taking a full four bowling points.

Wheatley replied with 135-9. Peter John Jansen batting at number three, scoring 38.

Glapwell’s Daniel Weaver took 3-17 and Christopher Webber 3-14, demonstrating some highly economic bowling for the Championship’s seventh placed team.
Edwinstowe continued their recent improvement in form with a three-wicket win over Kiveton at Forest Corner.

Kiveton compiled 244-9 in which Ali Karvelas made a convincing 85 and Tom Haslam was the next highest scorer with 40. James Dobson’s fruitful afternoon was reflected as he took 3-45.

In reply, Dobson struck a solid 64 with Adam Dutton adding 32 as they won the game with 246-7, James Gilbert claiming 3-31.
Mansfield Hosiery Mills’ win pushed them above Retford, who only mustered three points in their defeat to Anston.

Retford made 140-8 as they batted first. Chandra Kumara made a half century of 52 and Amila Pereira took 3-22 for the South Yorkshire side with Jamie Pearson claiming 3-39.

Anston’s replied with 141-6 to secure a four-wicket win.
Worksop’s Bernard Beukman made another good score of 117 this time in the team’s total of 241. Jordan Finney took 4-34 for Notts and Arnold Amateurs, whose reply fell short with an innings of 196 all out. Samuel Ecobb made 48 and Ben Scott top-scored with 56 with 5-73 for David Hancock.
