Waitrose, the England Cricket Team Sponsor, which has a shop in Nottingham’s Trinity Square, invited chefs from each of the grounds to the Waitrose Cookery School in London to pit their best culinary skills against each other in creating inspirational recipes for the perfect summer of cricket and food.
The chefs – from Lord’s, The Kia Oval, The Ageas Bowl, Emirates Old Trafford, Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground, Bristol County Ground, Edgbaston, Trent Bridge, Headingley and the SWALEC Stadium – prepared their dishes under the watchful eye of Dhruv Baker, 2010 Masterchef winner, Gordon McDermott, executive chef at the Waitrose Cookery School, and former England cricketer & ECB Selector, Angus Fraser.
