First win for new Southwell horse group

Leo (Hellbender), who went out at odds of at 16/1, gave the delighted recently formed Southwell Racecourse Owners Group their first win last week at Southwell racecourse.

It turned into a magical day for all of Leo’s proud owners and it was even more satisfying to have had this historical victory at their local and favorite racecourse.

Leo was purchased by shrewd trainer Shaun to run on the fibresand and he has now either won or been placed seven times out of his last eight runs at the track.

Trainer Shaun thinks that there still more to come and he will be aimed at some nice handicaps during the all weather season.
