FOOTBALL RUMOURS: Manchester Utd and Real Madrid to swap stars?

Manchester United and Real Madrid could be about to agree a deal that would see Karim Benzema and David De Gea move in opposite directions, according to The Daily Telegraph.

De Gea’s move could pave the way for Iker Casillas to head for Arsenal, according to the London Evening Standard, although a deal for Chelsea’s Petr Cech may yet see him head to the Emirates Stadium instead, say TalkSport.

According to the Daily Express, Carlos Tevez might be set for a return to the Premier League with Liverpool keen to tempt him away from Juventus, while the Daily Star say Manchester United remain keen on Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi and could pay £25 million for him.

Manchester City are interested in former Chelsea flop Kevin De Bruyne, say Sky Sports, while The Mirror claim Kieran Trippier is interesting Tottenham and that Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan is set to sign for Liverpool on a free transfer.

Everton are taking a close look at Marseille midfielder Dimitri Payet, according to The Guardian, while Sky Sports claim Chelsea remain favourites to sign Radamel Falcao after his loan spell with Manchester United.
