5. Matt Rhead
Boss Paul Cox was reunited with his big target man Rhead on a free transfer from Corby and he proved the ideal foil for Matt Green as Stags won the Conference Premier title. He played 120 times for Stags before enjoy more success at Lincoln City. Photo: Pete Norton
6. George Lapslie
The quality of George Lapslie was there for all to see as soon as he joined Stags. The Londoner signed on a permanent basis in January this year following a successful loan from Charlton. Since his move he has become an integral part in Nigel Clough's first-team line-up. Photo: Pete Norton
7. Louis Briscoe
Briscoe followed manager David Holdsworth from Ilkeston to Field Mill. He became a club legend after achieving promotion from the Conference and playing 175 times for Mansfield. Photo: Ross Kinnaird
8. Gareth Jelleyman
Jelleyman moved to Field Mill on a free in January 2005 after being released by Peterborough United. He went on to play over 120 times before leaving after Stags were relegated from the Football League. He left in the summer of 2008 after turning down a new contract. Photo: Matthew Lewis
