Nottingham Forest legend Kenny Burns says the former Spireites striker isn’t ready to be the Reds’ boss just yet.

“I know some people see him as a potential Forest manager for the future, but I’m not so sure.
“Yes, he’s done tremendously well but he still needs a lot more experience in management.
“A job at somewhere like Chesterfield for a couple of years would be great for him.”

“He’s still a baby in management terms,” he said.
“He has to get some more experience elsewhere, if he’s going to make the step up at the City Ground.
“You can’t just jump in straight at the top.
“He has started off at a lower level and now he can try to work his way up.”
