Mansfield Town to hold minute's silence for Lee Collins
Mansfield Town will hold a minute's silence at tomorrow's home game with Leyton Orient (3pm) in memory of former skipper Lee Collins, whose death at the age of 32 was announced today by current club Yeovil Town.
Stags chairman John Radford also paid tribute, saying: “I’m shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of our former defender and captain Lee Collins.
“He was a no-nonsense, battling braveheart on the field and a gentleman off it - a man who always gave his all in Stags’ colours.
“We’ll be observing a minute’s silence tomorrow in Lee’s memory and the thoughts and prayers of myself and Carolyn are with Lee’s loved ones at this difficult time.”
