Atkinson put Stags back in front

Martin Shaw runs through the Stags' starting XI, giving them each a mark out of 10 for their display.

No chance with the goals. Little else to do.
Assist for the third goal when he headed across for Atkinson to score. One good piece of defending, getting back to block from Varney. Looked more comfortable when moved to the left side of central defence.
Solid game.
Had a good game apart from losing his marker from a corner for Cheltenhams second. Unlucky to be penalised and booked for the free kick which led to their first, as he certainly played the ball from video replay.
Replaced at half time by Atkinson. Manager Flitcroft explained afterwards that he wanted Atkinson on with his experience and calmness against the dangerous Hussey.
Good game in midfield. One great block.
Threaded four superb incisive balls forward to create chances including the first goal.
Two goals, two other good efforts that were on target, and a great cross for Ajoses chance. Excellent.
Clever ball forward for Hamiltons second goal. Plenty of other good passes. Brought a good save from the keeper.
Poor, apart from a couple of good corners, including for the third goal. Brought a good save from the keeper from close range.
Worked hard on his own up front, winning a few throw-ins before the change in formation. Unselfish in his part in the first goal, albeit with the ball reaching Hamilton off the defender and goalkeeper. Missed a great chance at the end of the first half.
