Stags fans are calling for Keith Curle to be appointed as the new manager of the club.

Other candidates favoured by the fans on the Chad website and Chad Facebook page include Ian Baraclough, Martin Allen, Steve Cotterill, Steve Evans, and Colin Calderwood.

Dennis Cassidy wrote: “The only person I would like to see as Mansfield Town manager again is Keith Curle. He worked wonders when he was here.”

Another fan wrote: “Keith Curle - Dennis yes saw his name mentioned the other week much the same response .Still some names there maybe some just want a job ,sorry to say this ,it’s not just a job .A Amber Andy wasn’t so keen. He wrote: “He did well in his first season taking us to the play off final. The following season he seemed to dismantle the team. So far he does not appear to have done much for Carlisle. or me the pick of the bunch in the article is Baraclough.”
