Mansfield Town players chose the biggest game of the season so far to have their worst day at the office so far in Saturday's 1-0 local derby defeat at Notts County.
Craig Mackail-Smith's 19th minute goal won the day on an afternoon when Stags failed to even muster a shot at goal. Here, Chad sports editor John Lomas gives his ratings out of 10 for the Mansfield players.
Did his job competently and was only beaten by a very well-placed finish. Not many saves to make and nothing taxing.
Defended well and came up with two fantastic challenges that prevented great County chances finding the net.
Did his job and defended well.
A debut to forget as he was given a torrid time by Craig Mackail-Smith and was subbed at half-time. Definitely rusty after an injury lay-off and lucky not to be red-carded as last man, bringing down Mackail-Smith.
Gave his all on his full debut, but the cross for the winner came in from his side and struggled to get much joy offensively
Notts County won the midfield battle but you could not fault Bishop for his effort and stamina as he tried all he could to turn the tide at his former club.
