Stags celebrate their winner

Here are sports editor John Lomas' marks out of 10 for the Stags players

Not the best night for keeper Logan as he gave away the penalty equaliser and almost gifted another goal when he failed to hold onto a cross.
Superb return from concussion for this tenacious youngster.
A captain's performance on the big night a goal and some magnificent work that had the crowd chanting 'Chief' on several occasions.
Preston's return from injury was another welcome sight as he got stuck in and stood firm. Took a booking for the team to halt a dangerous breakaway. Stags have missed him.
Right wing back Jones had his best Stags game so far and made some superb bursts forward while putting in good tackles.
Bishop again belied his years to appear the most energetic player on the field, chasing everything tenaciously for the cause. Magnificent.
A blood and thunder game at that sort of pace is not the best for a player like Grant who had few chances to show his quality. Did get a backheeled effort on target, but was also booked for a dive in the penalty box.
Mellis tried hard but not much of it came off as he looked for a way to unlock the Lincoln defence.
Might have done better with the communication between him and Conrad Logan for the penalty but he was a thorn in Lincoln's side all night going forward and put in some fine tackles.
Hamilton had a decent night, forcing a good save from Matt Gilks and setting up a great chance for Tyler Walker, but Lincoln rarely let him open his legs at run at them.
Worked hard but struggled to hold the ball up at times and missed a golden first half chance to double Stags lead when he sliced a first time finish wide from close in.
A 59th minute sub for Grant, MacDonald worked hard but struggled to tune immediately into the frantic pace of the game. Will Tomlinson also came on in added time but too late to get a kick.
