Stags add friendly at Lincoln
Mansfield Town today added another game to their list of pre-season friendlies and will now take on Lincoln City at Gelder Group Sincil Bank on Tuesday, 29th July (7.30pm).
The two clubs are old rivals from both League Two and, more recently, the Conference, and Stags will expect to take a decent following to Sincil Bank.
It is the second new friendly announced this week with a game at Grimsby Town also confirmed for Friday, 25th July. Kick-off is there is also at 7.30pm and ticket information will be announced in due course.
The Mariners, who are managed by Paul Hurst, narrowly missed out on promotion to Sky Bet League Two last term – losing to Gateshead in the Conference Premier Play-Offs.
Meanwhile, the scheduled friendly between Clipstone and a Mansfield Town XI, mainly consisting of youth players, will now take place on Saturday, 12th July (3pm).
