STAGS' GAME OF THE WEEK: Greenacre brace ensures Mansfield edge seven-goal thriller over Halifax in 2001
Mansfield striker Chris Greenacre hit a double against his hometown club to help the Stags claim a thrilling win.

Halifax were level when Graham Mitchell (25) headed in - and the home side went in front when Wigan’s Alastair Asher diverted Rob Matthews’ shot into his own net after 35 minutes.
Greenacre grabbed his first after 39 minutes, then Gary Jones restored Halifax’s lead before Greenacre scored again in the second half.

Hide AdMansfield secured then win when Halifax defender Chris Clarke headed past his own keeper in stoppage time to secure a brilliant victory for Town.
Despite Town’s modest mid-table finish that season Greenacre hit 21 goals throughout the campaign.
He went one better and smashed 28 the following season before earning a move to Stoke City in 2002.
