More gold for Hynd

All-conquering Kirkby swim star Ollie Hynd yesterday claimed the 400m freestyle S8 gold on day two of the IPC Swimming European Championships in Eindhoven.

Paralympic, World, European and Commonwealth 200m medley champion Hynd, (19), won in four minutes 31.66 seconds, with team-mate Josef Craig taking bronze in the same race.

Only last week Hynd completed his full set of medals in the 200m with gold in Glasgow at the Commonwealth Games.
