ONLY six teams are contesting the HUCKNALL MIXED DARTS LEAGUE this season.
But last season’s champions, Station Hotel (Hucknall), are back – and carrying on where they left off in 2007.
Station have won all four of their opening games, including a 5-2 victory away to last season’s runners-up, Plough and Harrow, in their latest fixture. The game included a 144 finish from Paul Bowler for Station and a 125 finish from Julie Wilson for previously unbeaten Plough.
At the foot of the table, both Green Dragon, who lost 5-3 at Royal British Legion last week, and Flying Bedstead, who crashed 6-1 at home to Foreign Legion, have yet to gain a point.
