The 29 year-old left behind wife, Lizzie, and the couple’s five-month-old twins, Bobby and Phoebe.

Following his tragic death the world of rugby League has united to raise thousands of pounds for his family, with players taking part in sponsored head shaves.

An emotional crowd of 4,066 watched Keighley v Coventry at the weekend, the club’s biggest gate since 1995, with a bucket collection in aid of Jones’ family raising more than £10,000.

Wife Lizzie also bravely went on the pitch ahead of the game to thank the fans for their support.
