Hucknall hoping on return to action against strugglers

Teversal have a poor away record, losing 10 and drawing one of 12 games on the road and they also a minus 49 goal difference.

But they lost a nine-goal shoot-out with Keyworth last week and boss Andy Graves warned: “They scored four against Keyworth, so you can’t take anybody lightly.

“They can make life awkward for you if you’re not on your game. You can slip up quite easily. I’ve said it so many times.”

While Hucknal have been out of action they have lost top spot to Sherwood Colliery.

“I went to watch Sherwood v Blidworth and I thought 3-0 flattered Sherwood to be honest,” said Graves.

“There are only three points in it. They have drawn three and dropped six points, we have lost three and dropped nine points. And obviously we still have to play each other so that can be cancelled out.

“There is a long way to go yet. It’s what you do when you play others than in the top four, going to places where life can be difficult.

“I think some of our big games now are towards the end of the season. There will be a different complexion by the time we get there.

“There are four good teams up there and any one of us could so well in the next league and be worthy title winners. It’s all who had that mental strength towards the end. It’s going to be tight.”
