New ladies choir Cantus Amici is entirely composed of 50 Cantamus alumni and will make its debut at the Albert Hall, Nottingham, on Saturday, September 10.

With musical direction from Cantamus director Ann Irons and accompaniment from Michael Neaum, the programme will include many arrangements by Michael which he has written specifically for the new choir.

Cantus Amici will have Cantamus performing at its concert which is entitled Summer Serenade.

Cantamus was directed by Pamela Cook for many years. As it approaches its 50th anniversary, the choir continues to travel worldwide and fly the flag for Mansfield.

Tickets £12.50 for the concert on September 10 at 7.30pm. They are available from choir members or contact Laura Allsopp on 07872 313812 or visit the website [email protected]
