Bulwell care home residents celebrate National Baking Week
Residents at Bulwell’s Hall Park baked up some tasty treats last week
Staff and residents at Bulwell’s Hall Park Care Home in Bulwell cooked up some tasty treats to mark National Baking Week.
Over the course of the week, overseen by head chef Donna Wood, staff and residents baked a selection of delicious treats, including cookies, cakes and pastries.
General Manager, Jodie Rakhra, said: “It wasn’t just the residents that were excited when we found out there was a National Baking Week, the eyes of the staff lit up too. Who doesn’t love freshly baked cookies? We have all had a great time trying out new recipes and adding different flavours and ingredients.”
Barchester Hall Park care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.
