Police appeal after Hucknall scout hut is vandalised

Police are appealing for information to help catch those repsonsible for a vandalism attack on Hucknall scout hut.

The incident happened some time between Sunday, July 23 and Monday, July 24 at the 2nd Hucknall Scout Troop hut on West Street.

Damage was caused to the building roof, security lights and some chairs at the rear of the hut.

Police are also appealing for help with other incidents of theft, burglarly and criminal damage.

Some time between Friday, July 21 and 1am on Monday, July 24, a storage unit in the communal area of a property on Chatsworth Drive, Hucknall was broken into and some clothing and some paintings were stolen.

Between 6pm on Tuesday, July 25 and 9pm on Wednesday, July 24, an attempt was made to steal a Nissan Skyline from Bestwood Road, Hucknall – the steering lock was damaged in the attempt.

Some time between Sunday, July 23 and 11am on Monday, July 24, a vacant factory on Willow Drive, Annesley was broken into and damage caused to some radiators a fire alarm and the ceiling.

Between 12.09pm and 1pm on Monday, July 24, a blue Isuzu Trooper was broken into on Parker Street, Hucknall and a Dewalt drill, Dewalt circular saw, Stihl chain saw and a set of golf clubs were stolen.

At 9pm on Sunday, July 23, an electric pedal cycle was stolen from a takeaway shop on Annesley Road, Hucknall.

Between 10.30pm on Tuesday, July 25 and 10.30am on Wednesday July 26, a mobility scooter was stolen from outside a flat in St Andrews Close, George Street, Hucknall.

Between 9pm on Friday, July 21 and 5am on Saturday, July 22, two pushbikes were stolen from a rear garden in Victoria Street, Hucknall.

Between 8pm on Wednesday, July 19 and 10.45am on Thursday, July 20, a grey Mini Cooper parked outside property on Goodall Crescent, Hucknall was scratched all over.

Some time between midnight and 6am on Friday, July 21, an Audi A3 parked on Turner Grove, Hucknall was broken into causing damage, but nothing was stolen.

At 11pm on Sunday, July 23, a bedroom window was damaged at house on Clumber Street, Hucknall.

Some time around July 21, the gate padlocks were smashed as the High Leys/ Long Hill Rise allotments in Hucknall.
