Cyclist visits group during epic road trip

Fundraising cyclist Erin McDaid paid a visit to the Maun Conservation Group during a mammoth 250-mile ride around the county.

Erin, who works for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, visited all 67 nature reserves run by the trust during the ride, which raised over £1,000 for their conservation work in Sherwood Forest.

He is pictured with pupils from the Flying High Academy, Sarah Spurry from the trust, and Colin Etches – chairman of the Maun Conservation Group.

Erin said: “We have ambitious plans for work across the Sherwood landscape in the future.”
