Sherwood MP serves up a cuppa for RVS


A recent poll showed that the traditional British tea break is under threat like never before.
Nearly three-quarters of over 75s that live alone feel lonely. A nice cup of tea and a chat can make all the difference, whether it’s in keeping the workplace happy or cheering up an older person who might not have seen anyone else all week.

Hide Ad“That’s why I am asking you to support the humble tea break and Royal Voluntary Service, by simply pledging to make tea for your colleagues,” said Mr Spencer who did his bit at Under One Roof in Hucknall.
“This is a volunteer organization that enriches the lives of older people and their families across Britain.”
