Supermarket recalls pasta over possible health risk

Lidl UK is recalling batches of pasta over possible health risks to those with allergies.

The supermarket is recalling its ‘​​XXL ​Tortelloni with Spinach and Ricotta’​, 300g pack​ because the product contains egg, milk and gluten, which are not declared on the product label in English.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg and/ or milk and its constituents and/or gluten.

‘Use by’ date: all date codes

The product contains egg, milk, gluten making it a possible health risk to anyone who is allergic or intolerant to egg and/or milk and its constituents and/or gluten.

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or milk and its constituents and/ or gluten, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where you bought it for a full refund. Customers can also contact Customer Services on 0370 444 1234.

The company has recalled the product from customers and will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
