Notts County Ladies have signed England attacker Rachel Williams.

Williams, who can play in either a midfield role or as a striker, started her FA WSL career at Birmingham City Ladies scoring 14 goals in 14 appearances in the league’s debut season.

Notts County Ladies manager Rick Passmoor said: “Rachel’s proved her quality at this level since the league started and she is a fantastic addition to our squad.

“She’s a versatile player who adds real quality and we’re excited to welcome Rachel into this football club.”

Chief Executive Luke Negus-Hill said the signing showed the continued ambition of the club, adding: “Last year was our first year in the league and I think we can be proud of what we did.
