After being bought for 130,000 guineas, the strong and lengthy four-year-old grey arrived in this country with a lofty reputation, which was quickly justified when she ran away with a modest event at Haydock. Stepping up in class at Newbury last time, she was equally impressive, travelling like the winner before getting touched off close home by a fast-improving mare who has bolted up since to frank the form. Today’s race provides an ideal opportunity for compensation, particularly as Barry Geraghty is on board, having opted to spend a rare Sunday in the UK.
