That project quickly saw membership saw from six initial runners to more than 30 and encompass not just running but walking and Nordic walking.
Earlier this year, Paul, decided to start spreading the positive message of the Bulwell Runners ethos across the county by starting the Runspire charity.
And in just six months, and with the support of the Travel Well Project and funding from the National Lottery Community Awards, Runspire Nottingham has welcomed 1,359 participants across its sessions, spanning multiple Nottingham communities, including Bulwell, St. Ann's, Hyson Green, Sherwood, and Bilborough.

Paul says the sessions will offer teenagers ‘an opportunity to get active, build confidence, and experience the joy of running in a fun, supportive setting’.
He continued: “We are thrilled with the community’s response to our programmes.
“Our aim has always been to create a supportive environment for people to stay active, improve their fitness, and boost their mental health.
